SOCIAL JUSTICE STATEMENT
Social justice is a moral imperative that requires immediate and persistent action, follow through, and solidarity. Change is propelled by art & inspired by creating spaces where communities come together, barriers are broken, and voices heard. Inclusion and empathy require specific and dynamic actions. To this end: we reject inequities and injustice; we recognize emerging perspectives; and we commit to diverse representation in our work, governance and membership.
We acknowledge that this statement, as our efforts toward true equity, are a work in progress and as we strive to make this a living doctrine.
