About Us

MISSION STATEMENT
Philadelphia Dramatist Center is an organization of playwrights, artists, and audience members that develops and fosters new dramatic works from conception through production. We provide access to resources, critical feedback, and expert guidance. 
We create accessible, equitable, and collaborative environments for dramatists, directors, actors, designers, and producers from the Greater Philadelphia arts community. Together we form meaningful relationships through development programs, workshops, reading series, and performances.

We acknowledge that this statement, like all good creative endeavors, is a work in progress and we strive to make this a living, evolving doctrine.
